Free-range power supply
Ordinary sensor equipment operates according to fixed power voltages (100VAC or 200VAC in Japan). Many countries use different power voltages.Some devices on machines use DC power, such as 24VDC.If a different power is supplied, equipment that only accepts a fixed power voltage needs to have a power converter or it must be modified.
Need for free-range power supply
Some people believe that a free-range power supply is not needed inside Japan. However, even though users are in Japan, they may decide to export their machines and equipment outside Japan. These machines and equipment may be used in unstable power supply conditions. Therefore, a free-range power supply is becoming one of necessary aspects of sensor equipment.
A free-range power supply that can use a wide range of AC/DC current
Our products (capacitance level switch YAL and vibration level switch CV) have free-wide-range power supplies that work with 20 to 250 volts AC/DC. Because this power supply can be used across a wide range, these level switches can be used in almost all countries and regions in the world. This function can be used with almost all power outlets in the world, including countries in Europe.
